Miley Cyrus-VMA Performance

Mylie Cyrus performance at the VMA's shocked millions of viewers.  There were multiple news articles, twitter all a buzz and facebook blowing up with comments.  Why is everyone so shocked by her performance? This same nonsense takes place every year. This is why I stopped watching the VMA's years ago because of its negative images, raunchy performances, and bad behavior of its performers language included.  Madonna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Lil Kim and many others have performed in like manner, raunchy and seductive.  Now the next generation of young women are coming along and are willing to follow down the same degenerate path as did there predecessors. Trashing Miley Cyrus is not the answer because she is a product of Hollywood with its blurred lines mentality, lack of morals and restraint. I'm not excusing Mylie in anyway, because she is accountable for her choices and actions. Why is Miley so quick to shed her adolescent persona?  She is a beautiful and talented young woman with so much to offer.  It is very sad that Mylie Cyrus cannot see her true beauty...her God given beauty...blurred lines indeed.

What Happen To Your Rulership?

My desire is for women to be restored to their rightful place of rulership of Grace, Femininity, Beauty, Temperance, and Excellence.  Together they work from within and shine outwardly. The enemy of our soul works counterclockwise in that he uses the exterior and destroys what is on the inside. There is a direct correlation between rulership and judgment.  In order to effectively rule, there must be the practice of sound judgment.  When rulership is void of sound judgment, a poor rulership is inevitable.  Rulership is a choice.  You can either rule or be ruled.  Walking in rulership is important because it sets order and establishes boundaries.  God (YAH) has given us rulership over our conduct, appearance, and speech.  These things have rulership over you by choice. Rulership is the difference between YAH's people and the world. Rulership is living the way YAH (God) intended for us to live before the foundation of the world. It is time ...

Umbrella Lady

I have always admired this picture...the elegant lady with the umbrella...It reminds me of an expression my friend often says, " My Umbrella Has Holes ".  She was speaking of her life and some of the things she had experienced.  When I look at this picture I see my friend, an umbrella with out holes, happy, stately and strong. Do you ever feel like your umbrella has holes?  Life can sure make it feel that way at times.  Perhaps you are a single mother raising children on your own; or a college graduate having difficulty securing a job in your field. You may be a teenager feeling like you don't quite fit in. Maybe you are a victim of rape or incest and you feel so violated that you wonder if you will ever regain your life back. Perhaps you are sadden over a  loss of a job,or dealing with a sickness that have you asking, " Why Me ". These are certainly," My   umbrella has holes moments ". Although we may have our umbrella has holes moments/sea...

Feed My Sheep

Jesus Reinstates Peter John 21:15-20 New International Version (NIV) When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,  “Do you love me?”  He said, “Lord, you know all things;  you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my sheep.     Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”   Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death ...
