Holy Spirit

I have read the book of Acts several times and each time I have read it, I became more aware of the significance of the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives.  The early church depended on the Holy Spirit to daily lead and guide them.  As I pondered this  I realized that I must repent for not acknowledging the importance of the daily necessity of the Holy Spirit in my life.  The Holy Spirit is real and He has a voice. The Holy Spirit leads and guides into all truth, John 16:13.

It disturbs me what I see taking place in the church today. Especially when we have so great a POWER to use and we neglect to embrace Him, the Holy Spirit.  I am tired of pimps in the pulpit.  I'm tired of celebrity preachers and their lavish life styles of the rich and famous.  I'm tired of lukewarm sermons and sermons void of the truth of God's word.  I'm tired of the church being operated as a business instead of a house of prayer.  Discipleship has been replaced with new members classes which basically instructs in church doctrine.

The early church turned the world upside down preaching the gospel of the kingdom.  They were beaten, imprisoned, tortured and martyred.  Souls were being added to the church only a daily basis, because of the fearless men and women who were not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. While today we are silenced and continue the business of church as usual, God Help Us!  We need the Holy Spirit friend, we need the Holy Spirit.  We need to be reminded of who we are in Christ Jesus and the purpose for which we all have been called and sent.  Holy Spirit I need you!

What Happen To Your Rulership?

My desire is for women to be restored to their rightful place of rulership of Grace, Femininity, Beauty, Temperance, and Excellence.  Together they work from within and shine outwardly. The enemy of our soul works counterclockwise in that he uses the exterior and destroys what is on the inside. There is a direct correlation between rulership and judgment.  In order to effectively rule, there must be the practice of sound judgment.  When rulership is void of sound judgment, a poor rulership is inevitable.  Rulership is a choice.  You can either rule or be ruled.  Walking in rulership is important because it sets order and establishes boundaries.  God (YAH) has given us rulership over our conduct, appearance, and speech.  These things have rulership over you by choice. Rulership is the difference between YAH's people and the world. Rulership is living the way YAH (God) intended for us to live before the foundation of the world. It is time ...

Feed My Sheep

Jesus Reinstates Peter John 21:15-20 New International Version (NIV) When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,  “Do you love me?”  He said, “Lord, you know all things;  you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my sheep.     Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”   Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death ...

The Shunammite Women

2 Kings 4:8 - 37 The Shunammite woman was a wealthy and well respected person in the society. This is how the Bible described her. In Deborah we saw a leader, in Hannah a prayerful woman, in Abigail an intelligent woman and the Shunammite a wealthy and well respected person in the society. This gives us a true picture of how the Bible views woman. The Shunammite woman had a kind heart. Keeping your heart right, full of love and empty of bitterness is the secret of receiving from God. The Shunammite woman used her kindness and wealth to entertain a prophet (2 Kings 4:8-10). She got blessed with a child because of her kindness. This was inline with God's promise (Matthew 10:41). The Shu nammite woman had three qualities that are essential in every woman of God. Contentment  A kind heart (compassion)  Persistence The Shunammite woman's life teaches us important lessons about these three essential qualities. Contentment (1 Timothy 6:1- 10) When Elisha asked t...
