Sunday Morning Worship

Happy Father's Day

Proverbs 4:1 Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.

Following The Father's Example

Ephesians 6:1-4 Do you have a strong relationship with your children? The way we first think about God has much to do with how we were parented—especially by our father. What image of the Lord are  you portraying? Many men struggle in their role as dads because their own fathers were either absent—physically or emotionally— or poor examples. But regardless of what a person experienced in the past, the best thing any parent can do is imitate God the Father. But how do we know who He really is? We get our best glimpse of what the heavenly Father is like by looking at His Son. Speaking with the disciples, Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me . . . He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:6, 9). Not only is Christ our path to relationship with God; He is also the way we come to know the Father’s true character. When we look at Jesus’ life, what do we see? He was merciful, patient, gentle, compassionate

Tea With Friends

I love my tea friends. They are gifts from God. We have shared many wonderful times over a cup of tea.  Having tea with friends i s a time of  refreshing.  We  laugh, share what's happening in our life and  encourage one another in the things of the Lord. I simply love it! Sometimes we wear hats or come as we are.   We have the best time. Thank God for my tea friends.

Sunday Morning Worship

Holy Spirit, release divine might to strengthen my mind and my emotions.    Guide me into places of strength, restore my broken places, reveal my hidden places and work wholeness in my heart.   Guide my life onto the “highway of holiness”, build up the road, bring down the high places and remove the obstacles in the way of my heart being conformed into the image of Jesus.   You know my places of weakness, I entrust You with those places and ask you to build Your strength for the glory of Jesus and the increase of His Kingdom. The Well Dressed Woman

Every summer it happens, young women dressing badly.   I see young women walking to the store in pajama pants, rollers in hair with undergarments on display.   Prom season is even scarier with girls wearing gowns that leave little to the imagination. Where are the parents?   There was a time when women took pride in their appearance and their daughters were taught to do the same.    Photos of women from the 50's and 60s remind me that femininity and being stylish and classy did exist and was embraced.  We have taught our daughters about women’s rights, but some how we dropped the ball in teaching girls responsibility, accountability, morals, values and integrity along with those rights. It’s time to get back to the basics and start with teaching our young women self respect and discretion for such a time as this. JHOG/2015

Are You Part of the Remnant

In May 2012, I heard the voice of the Lord say to me, “Pat, I am looking for the remnant rising!” This coincided with the fact that I had many dreams over the previous two years of an  awakening  coming to America. In one particular dream, I was in an old diner, sitting in a booth with key leaders, and in front of us sat an old radio. Every time we changed the radio station on the old radio, the announcer would broadcast that God was pouring His Spirit out in different cities. I remember awakening that night from the dream with laughter and tears. As I researched, I found the word  remnant . I began to realize this was the answer to the awakening I believe is coming to the world. Here is what I found when I researched the word remnant: 1. Dictionary.com defines it as “remaining, what is left over, usually small part, a fragment or scrap, unsold or unused piece of cloth, as at the end of a bolt.” 2. In the Bible, the definition in both the Old and New Testament is “What remains

Matters Of The Heart

"It’s really painful to say goodbye to someone that you don’t want to let go of, but it’s even more painful to hold on to them if they never wanted to stay in the first place. If someone doesn’t show you the same love that you show them, and acts as if you are unimportant most of the time, this may be a big clue as to the fact that you don’t need them in your life either. The only people you truly need in your life are those who respect you and want you to be in theirs." - -Author Unknown
