Abbey
Wehrerell, age 12 was jogging in the woods near her grand parents home in
Cadillac, Michigan when attacked by a black bear. It was the quick
thinking of this brave young woman which saved her life. The bear weighed
several hundreds pounds and was twice her size. The bear approached her
several times. First attack, the bear pinned her down and clawed at her,
then walked away. Second attack, Abbey tries to run away, but the bear
returns pinning her again to the ground. The young woman begins to pet
the animal, it eventually leaves, but comes back. Third attack, the young
woman decides to play dead, the bear seeing her lifeless runs away. Abbey
received over 100 stitches. What a remarkable story.
Thank you God for sparing this young woman's life.
