What Happen To Your Rulership?

My desire is for women to be restored to their rightful place of rulership of Grace, Femininity, Beauty, Temperance, and Excellence.  Together they work from within and shine outwardly. The enemy of our soul works counterclockwise in that he uses the exterior and destroys what is on the inside.

There is a direct correlation between rulership and judgment.  In order to effectively rule, there must be the practice of sound judgment.  When rulership is void of sound judgment, a poor rulership is inevitable.  Rulership is a choice.  You can either rule or be ruled.  Walking in rulership is important because it sets order and establishes boundaries.  God (YAH) has given us rulership over our conduct, appearance, and speech.  These things have rulership over you by choice. Rulership is the difference between YAH's people and the world. Rulership is living the way YAH (God) intended for us to live before the foundation of the world. It is time to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask am I ruling or being ruled.  This is the question of the hour.

Judgment:  the ability to judge, make decisions, or form an opinion objectively, authoritatively, and wisely, especially in matters affecting action, good sense; direction
Rulership: the act or fact of a ruling or the state of being ruled

The Bible tells us, “Do not love the world or the things in the world.  If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him (1John 2:15) I believe this passage of scripture is relevant to where we are today.  We love and embrace so many things even if YAH (God) is against it.  We fail to realize whatever we put before God or love more than God has power over us. It will turn your heart away from serving the Most High God. This power will cause you to conform to its image, weaken your rulership, thereby rendering you ineffective to rule.

An example of ineffective rulership is Queen Jezebel.  Jezebel name means “Chaste”, which is a complete opposite of who she was.  Someone obviously had a different plan for her. Jezebel's parents were a high priest in the worship of Baal. Jezebel was a Phoenician princess who was raised to defend and protect the worship of Baal and Asherah (1Kings 29 – 34).

Queen Jezebel was a complete waste of talent. Jezebel did evil all the days of her life.  She had beauty, power, and position, but poor rulership. It was all about her seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Jezebel married Ahad king over Northern Israel and she used his weakness (the bible refers to him as spineless), as King to achieve her lofty goals. What a difference she could have made during the reign of her husband if only she had a servant attitude.  Instead, she allowed herself to be ruled over by her thirst for power, greed, and immorality.  Jezebel used her position as queen to kill the prophets of God and to illegally seize a man’s property (1Kings 21:1-16), by condemning him to death through deceit. Honesty and integrity were never linked to Jezebel. This chick was out of order in every way.  She obeyed the god whom she loved and his power over her life caused her to kill, steal and destroy. Her offsprings were just as wicked. Jezebels’ poor rulership affected generations. Instead of her children having rulership, they were ruled over by the same wicked spirit as she was.

You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit (Matthew 7:16-30).
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

And if you think Jezebel was a time one-time deal, you are mistaken.  There is many Jezebels’ today who are ruled by the same wicked spirit. Jezebels’ end was not a pleasant one.  She was pushed from a balcony window where dogs below consumed her body. The only thing left to bury were her nails, palm of her hands and feet (2 Kings 9:21-37).  When rulership is void of sound judgment, poor rulership is inevitable.

An excellent example of an effective rulership is Queen Esther.  Esther a Persian name and is from “aster” meaning “a Star”. Many of us are familiar with the story of Esther (Hadassah her Hebrew name), a beautiful orphan girl who became queen. Her Hebrew identity was kept a secret at the request of her uncle Mordecai (Esther 2:7).

Esther’s beauty may have gotten her noticed, but it was the beauty from within that got her chosen as queen.  Rulership starts from within, which is why the enemy works to destroy what is on the inside. Rulership requires preparation and we tend to fight against the very thing God is using to prepare us. Perhaps you were adopted, or an orphan, a victim of rape or a single parent. God uses the situations of our lives to prepare us in fulfilling our destiny.

It is apparent someone mentored Esther in the ways of God. There was humbleness with Esther. Although Esther did not seek to become queen, nor was it her idea to be brought to the King’s palace. She willingly submitted to the process of becoming queen. Her attitude must have been so refreshing that she obtained favor from Hegai, who was the overseer of the young women brought to the palace. Rulership is obedience and submissive to those in authority over you. It's having a teachable spirit, listening and asking questions. All of which affects our judgment.

So it was, when the king’s command and decree were heard, and when many young women were gathered at Shushan the citadel, under the custody of Hegai, that Esther also was taken to the king’s palace, into the care of Hegai the custodian of the women. Now the young woman pleased him, and she obtained his favor; so he readily gave beauty preparations to her, besides her allowance. Then seven choice maidservants were provided for her from the king’s palace, and he moved her and her maidservants to the best place in the house of the women (Esther 2:8 – 9).

Rulership is surrendering and dying to the flesh. It is not about having our own way or being in control. How else could Esther have responded, “If I perish I perish” when called upon by her Uncle Mordecai to go before the king without being summoned. Esther was literally asked to lay her life on the line for her people to save them from Haman’s murderous plot. Going before the King without being summoned was a death sentence unless the King held out the golden scepter(Esther 4:4 -15).

Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”(Esther 4:10 – 15).

Instead of being ruled by fear and of the protection of her lofty position. Esther ruled over by choosing to not make it about herself. Esther’s chose to surrender her life without foreknowledge of the outcome.  In doing so she saved a nation from annihilation.  Rulership is a choice.  You can either rule or be ruled.  Which one are you?  If you have laid down your scepter it is time to pick it back up.

The world has enough Divas.  It’s time for the true Queens to arise.

Miriam

Miriam was the big sister of Moses. Her name (sometimes rendered as Mary in English) means 'bitter' although it could also signify 'one who loves or is loved by Yahweh'. Yahweh means 'the self-existent one'. Yahweh is one of the ways the children of Israel referred to God. Meet the family Amram and Jochebed were the father and mother of Miriam, Aaron and Moses. Moses was the youngest of the three yet became the leader of the pack (Exodus 2:3-4; Exodus 6:20; Numbers 26:59). Moses was the man who led Israel out of Egypt. As the big sister of the family Miriam knew all the secrets. Women often get to know about things that men don't. When Pharaoh of Egypt decreed the death of all Israel baby boys in a desperate attempt to curb the growth of Israel, Amram and Jochebed put baby Moses into a waterproof basket and set it on the river in an attempt to save his life. It was Miriam who was watching the basket when the daughter of Pharaoh discovered it. It w

Is MakeUp Deceptive?

Is there something deceptive about makeup? I believe it is a topic worth exploring. My interest in this topic awakened after receiving a makeup kit which a family member ordered for me online.  When the item arrived the name on the kit gave me an uneasy feeling because I understood the meaning of the name.  Dismissing the feeling I went ahead and used the makeup I had anxiously waited for. But the Lord brought it to my remembrance again and this time I could not ignore.    The Beauty Industry in the US, which includes hair care and skincare, is a 445 billion market (Forbes, May 2017). The US has the largest cosmetic market in the world. It was expected in 2016 to exceed 62 billion in revenue and is expected to maintain positive growth through 2018, (Market Research.com 2016) In the U.S., the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates cosmetics, defines cosmetics as “intended to be applied to the human body for cleansing, beautifying, promoting attractiveness, or
