Morning Glory

Rise and shine for the light is come – put a smile on your face. Greet the morning sun. Look forward to starting your day. Yesterday is gone. Today is a new day, a new beginning. Try getting up 30 minutes before you jump in the shower so you don‘t have to start your day with a sprint. Make yourself a cup of tea or have a glass of orange juice.

Use a pretty glass. It always makes me feel good. Have a stress free relaxing morning.

Start your day by talking to God. Remember He has a vested interest in you. Tell Him what‘s on your mind, your thoughts and concerns. Talk to Him about your future, things you might like or hope to do. Places you may want to go and even family matters. Tell Him about the about the cute guy you like. And tell Him about the part you auditioned for in a play that you didn‘t get. You can tell God anything and He‘ll never sell you out. No matter what it is, He is looking forward to hearing from you.

I have found this to be my favorite time of the day. The house is quiet and it has a peaceful feeling. Nothing is stirring so I go down stairs to make myself a cup of tea. I go back to my room and sit in my favorite chair which I place near the window. I glance outside to see what the weather is like then sit back in my chair and enjoy my quiet time. To others it may be just a bedroom, but to me it is my secret place. I keep it neat and orderly because I want to create a peaceful atmosphere. My room is pretty and bright, just the way I like it. If you don‘t like how your bedroom looks, change it. Make it in to what you want. Speak to your parents, ask them for assistance. Choose colors that make you smile. Decorate with pillows, throw rugs, flowers or pretty pictures. You don‘t need to spend a lot. On most occasions, a fresh coat of paint and clean room will do the trick.

And if you don‘t have a pretty glass, buy one while you are shopping for your room.

Make your time with God special. Even if you choose not to make any changes to your room, the time you spend talking to your heavenly Father is special. You may come to discover that morning glory is your favorite time of the day.

What Happen To Your Rulership?

My desire is for women to be restored to their rightful place of rulership of Grace, Femininity, Beauty, Temperance, and Excellence.  Together they work from within and shine outwardly. The enemy of our soul works counterclockwise in that he uses the exterior and destroys what is on the inside. There is a direct correlation between rulership and judgment.  In order to effectively rule, there must be the practice of sound judgment.  When rulership is void of sound judgment, a poor rulership is inevitable.  Rulership is a choice.  You can either rule or be ruled.  Walking in rulership is important because it sets order and establishes boundaries.  God (YAH) has given us rulership over our conduct, appearance, and speech.  These things have rulership over you by choice. Rulership is the difference between YAH's people and the world. Rulership is living the way YAH (God) intended for us to live before the foundation of the world. It is time ...

Feed My Sheep

Jesus Reinstates Peter John 21:15-20 New International Version (NIV) When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,  “Do you love me?”  He said, “Lord, you know all things;  you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my sheep.     Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”   Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death ...

The Shunammite Women

2 Kings 4:8 - 37 The Shunammite woman was a wealthy and well respected person in the society. This is how the Bible described her. In Deborah we saw a leader, in Hannah a prayerful woman, in Abigail an intelligent woman and the Shunammite a wealthy and well respected person in the society. This gives us a true picture of how the Bible views woman. The Shunammite woman had a kind heart. Keeping your heart right, full of love and empty of bitterness is the secret of receiving from God. The Shunammite woman used her kindness and wealth to entertain a prophet (2 Kings 4:8-10). She got blessed with a child because of her kindness. This was inline with God's promise (Matthew 10:41). The Shu nammite woman had three qualities that are essential in every woman of God. Contentment  A kind heart (compassion)  Persistence The Shunammite woman's life teaches us important lessons about these three essential qualities. Contentment (1 Timothy 6:1- 10) When Elisha asked t...
