He Comes to Us

We serve an awesome God!.  He meets us right where we are.  Yesterday I posted about the Samaritan Woman at the well.  Jesus purposely waited for this woman. This morning as I sat before the Lord in prayer, I kept hearing the words "Let it Go" over and over.  I had a vision of myself at church sharing my testimony of how God brought me through many things.  The last words I uttered in the vision is God restored me.  

Just like the woman at the well, God can and will restore you.  How does God restore us?  By loving us with an endless love and forgiving us of our sin. This is what He did for the woman at the well.  He simply loved her. 

 Gods love gives us the strength to let go of the pain of the past so we can
walk into all that He has for us.  Spend time with God each day, be quiet and listen. His words are healing and life changing. If you need God to restore you or to help you "Let it Go", what ever it is, call on Him and He will meet you right where you are.



Psalm 23:3
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake

Feed My Sheep

Umbrella Lady

I have always admired this picture...the elegant lady with the umbrella...It reminds me of an expression my friend often says, " My Umbrella Has Holes ".  She was speaking of her life and some of the things she had experienced.  When I look at this picture I see my friend, an umbrella with out holes, happy, stately and strong. Do you ever feel like your umbrella has holes?  Life can sure make it feel that way at times.  Perhaps you are a single mother raising children on your own; or a college graduate having difficulty securing a job in your field. You may be a teenager feeling like you don't quite fit in. Maybe you are a victim of rape or incest and you feel so violated that you wonder if you will ever regain your life back.
