What's Going On

I met a wonderful couple walking in the park the other day.  They were taking pictures of the sky and commenting how beautiful it was as I walked by. I yelled, "Its the glory of God".  The man asked  if I was a Christian and I said yes.  He ask what church do  I attend and I told him I fellowship at home. His face changed slightly as to be caught off guard by my answer. The gentlemen and his wife are Asian and he was trying to understand what is happening in the church.  He said, "The people live well and have no need of God; and many are leaving the church".

My response:  "Sir, some people have fallen away from the Lord, but many are leaving because they want God.  True believers are weary of watered down sermons, inter-faithism, embracing ungodly agendas and being entertained.  People are hungry for God and desire a deeper and  more intimate relationship with Him.

His response: "When you read the bible and you don't understand something, how will you learn?

My response, "The Holy Spirit will help you to understand.  He leads and guides in to all truth". (John 16:13)

His response: "We are not to forsake the the gathering together with believers".
(Hebrews 10:25)

My response. "Sir, I have fellowship with other believers all the time.  We have fellowship in many places, restaurants, at someone's home or where ever we decide and encourage one another in the faith. The church is not a building, but a body of people who believe in Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as Lord and savior.  I treasure the relationship I have with  the Lord. Should the Lord lay on my heart to start attending a church I will obey".

Before we parted company, we joined hands in prayer and prayed  to the Lord. My new friends and I left encouraged in our walk with the Lord. It was a great time of fellowship, truly awesome!.

What Happen To Your Rulership?

My desire is for women to be restored to their rightful place of rulership of Grace, Femininity, Beauty, Temperance, and Excellence.  Together they work from within and shine outwardly. The enemy of our soul works counterclockwise in that he uses the exterior and destroys what is on the inside. There is a direct correlation between rulership and judgment.  In order to effectively rule, there must be the practice of sound judgment.  When rulership is void of sound judgment, a poor rulership is inevitable.  Rulership is a choice.  You can either rule or be ruled.  Walking in rulership is important because it sets order and establishes boundaries.  God (YAH) has given us rulership over our conduct, appearance, and speech.  These things have rulership over you by choice. Rulership is the difference between YAH's people and the world. Rulership is living the way YAH (God) intended for us to live before the foundation of the world. It is time ...

Umbrella Lady

I have always admired this picture...the elegant lady with the umbrella...It reminds me of an expression my friend often says, " My Umbrella Has Holes ".  She was speaking of her life and some of the things she had experienced.  When I look at this picture I see my friend, an umbrella with out holes, happy, stately and strong. Do you ever feel like your umbrella has holes?  Life can sure make it feel that way at times.  Perhaps you are a single mother raising children on your own; or a college graduate having difficulty securing a job in your field. You may be a teenager feeling like you don't quite fit in. Maybe you are a victim of rape or incest and you feel so violated that you wonder if you will ever regain your life back. Perhaps you are sadden over a  loss of a job,or dealing with a sickness that have you asking, " Why Me ". These are certainly," My   umbrella has holes moments ". Although we may have our umbrella has holes moments/sea...

Feed My Sheep

Jesus Reinstates Peter John 21:15-20 New International Version (NIV) When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,  “Do you love me?”  He said, “Lord, you know all things;  you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my sheep.     Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”   Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death ...
