Having it All - Having Nothing

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.  And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I AM NOTHING.”  1 Cor. 13:1-2
How do we miss such an obvious truth? I’ve been observing a current movement of what is being called “the prophetic.” Self or publicly proclaimed prophets are giving others “words from God,” as if we cannot hear from God ourselves. They have “powers” to understand mysteries no different than in A.D. 55, when Paul wrote to the Corinthian church. Apparently, when Paul was dropping a plumb line of principles regarding our spiritual pursuits and our character, in their culture at that time, people had the same vulnerability that we deal with today.  It is easier to function in perceived powers than it is to live in love.
Love is the greatest power of all; greater than any miraculous manifestation. Love is eternal. It has no end.  GOD IS LOVE and when one really loves, they release the power of God to do miraculous works in a human heart.
God trusted husbands with an ability to love their wives in the same way He loves his church (Eph. 5:25).  This love is redemptive, healing, forgiving, and restoring.
Love is a penetrating force of God into a human soul that gives significance, stability, and security.
Focus on the power of being nice, waiting until others catch up, holding your tongue and not saying everything you think. How about letting someone else be right? Stop being cranky and resending negative thoughts about others over and over in your mind. Be excited when someone else succeeds and rave to them for doing good. Carry your own weight; Keep believing, hoping and never give up.
This is the real way to live: love’s way. It’s greater than any performance of the miraculous that is displayed in a gathering place. Love is the real miracle.
By the way, I believe in speaking in tongues, prophesying, and signs and wonders; but maybe not the way that some do. All of these manifestations are part of my real everyday life (not just in public), and they do not replace LOVE. Love is first and foremost. It is possible to have it all.

What Happen To Your Rulership?

My desire is for women to be restored to their rightful place of rulership of Grace, Femininity, Beauty, Temperance, and Excellence.  Together they work from within and shine outwardly. The enemy of our soul works counterclockwise in that he uses the exterior and destroys what is on the inside. There is a direct correlation between rulership and judgment.  In order to effectively rule, there must be the practice of sound judgment.  When rulership is void of sound judgment, a poor rulership is inevitable.  Rulership is a choice.  You can either rule or be ruled.  Walking in rulership is important because it sets order and establishes boundaries.  God (YAH) has given us rulership over our conduct, appearance, and speech.  These things have rulership over you by choice. Rulership is the difference between YAH's people and the world. Rulership is living the way YAH (God) intended for us to live before the foundation of the world. It is time ...

Feed My Sheep

Jesus Reinstates Peter John 21:15-20 New International Version (NIV) When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him,  “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,  “Do you love me?”  He said, “Lord, you know all things;  you know that I love you.” Jesus said,  “Feed my sheep.     Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”   Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death ...

The Shunammite Women

2 Kings 4:8 - 37 The Shunammite woman was a wealthy and well respected person in the society. This is how the Bible described her. In Deborah we saw a leader, in Hannah a prayerful woman, in Abigail an intelligent woman and the Shunammite a wealthy and well respected person in the society. This gives us a true picture of how the Bible views woman. The Shunammite woman had a kind heart. Keeping your heart right, full of love and empty of bitterness is the secret of receiving from God. The Shunammite woman used her kindness and wealth to entertain a prophet (2 Kings 4:8-10). She got blessed with a child because of her kindness. This was inline with God's promise (Matthew 10:41). The Shu nammite woman had three qualities that are essential in every woman of God. Contentment  A kind heart (compassion)  Persistence The Shunammite woman's life teaches us important lessons about these three essential qualities. Contentment (1 Timothy 6:1- 10) When Elisha asked t...
