They sure don’t make em' like Jim Johnson anymore. If you saw the movie “Hidden Figures”, you know what I'm referring to. I have always heard that if a man truly loves a woman he will do whatever he must do to have her. I’m not certain what percentage of women would agree with this statement, but I believe there is some authenticity to it.
Many of you are familiar with the story of Jacob and Rachel of the Old Testament - (Paraphrasing) After Jacob was beguiled by Rachel’s father, believing the woman he was marrying was indeed his beloved Rachel. Awaken the next morning to discover he had married Leah, Rachel’s older sister. Jacob devastated inquired of Rachel’s father of what he had done. He said to Jacob, “I will give you Rachel as well, but you must serve me another seven years”. Jacob served another seven years for Rachel, but it seemed like only days to him, because he loved her. My personal favorite of what I refer to as true love comes from a passage in Matthew, 13:44-46
The Parable of the Hidden Treasure
44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy, over it, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
The Parable of the Pearl of Great Price
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Know your worth
You are like a treasure hidden in a field
A pearl of great price
