Do Not Be Afraid Of Their Faces

Do not be afraid of their faces,

For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.

Jeremiah 1:8

There is a need in all of us to be loved and accepted. At times it can be a challenge to say what you really feel or believe because of opposing voices. We are afraid to be the one standing on the outside looking through the window. I have experienced this and trust me it is not a comfortable feeling. It takes courage to speak the truth and silence is not always golden. We often refrain from speaking the truth in order to keep the peace, but without “Truth”, there is only a temporary peace. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the light”(John 14:6). As followers of Jesus Christ, we must never be afraid to share the truth of His word. On the outside, their faces may appear as if uninterested (perhaps it may be true), but on the inside, God is doing a work and we must trust Him. Do not allow their faces (Outward appearance) to determine your response or actions, but rather allow your face to be a reflection of God’s love.
