What Is So Good About Good Friday

I often hear young children ask, “What is so good about Good Friday?

Jesus was killed and died a horrible death. True, but the reason Good Friday is good is because Jesus willingly (He could have called His angels to rescue Him, remember?) sacrificed and suffered for us. There was a purpose in all that suffering. He knew that purpose and was obedient, even unto death. He took our sin to that cross so that we could be saved. Without His sacrifice, we could not be justified to God.

On that day, it looked like evil won, but Easter reminds us that this is not true. Jesus triumphed over the grave. Death could not keep Him and He rose again!

Good Friday was the day wrath met mercy. Jesus poured out His great love for us and died so we may live. He did what no one else could ever do-He who had no sin, became sin for us so that we could become the righteousness of God. That is the good in Good Friday.”

What Happen To Your Rulership?

My desire is for women to be restored to their rightful place of rulership of Grace, Femininity, Beauty, Temperance, and Excellence. Together they work from within and shine outwardly. The enemy of our soul works counterclockwise in that he uses the exterior and destroys what is on the inside. There is a direct correlation between rulership and judgment. In order to effectively rule, there must be the practice of sound judgment. When rulership is void of sound judgment, a poor rulership is inevitable. Rulership is a choice. You can either rule or be ruled. Walking in rulership is important because it sets order and establishes boundaries. God (YAH) has given us rulership over our conduct, appearance, and speech. Umbrella Lady

I have always admired this picture...the elegant lady with the umbrella...It reminds me of an expression my friend often says, " My Umbrella Has Holes ". She was speaking of her life and some of the things she had experienced. When I look at this picture I see my friend, an umbrella with out holes, happy, stately and strong. Do you ever feel like your umbrella has holes? Life can sure make it feel that way at times. Perhaps you are a single mother raising children on your own; or a college graduate having difficulty securing a job in your field. You may be a teenager feeling like you don't quite fit in. Maybe you are a victim of rape or incest and you feel so violated that you wonder if you will ever regain your life back.
