Selah: to pause, to reflect What day is today? Today is Mother’s Day! I want to give a Mother’s Day shout out to my beautiful mother, aka, “Sweet Ruthie” She is a precious GEM, a one of kind. Jesus is our first example of how we are to love our mother. Jesus, from the cross, sees His mother Mary in grief, says to His beloved disciple John, “Behold thy mother”. I have heard several teachings that say Jesus was making sure that His mother would be provided for after He is gone.
