What Are You Hiding

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the   Lord   run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of   those whose heart   is   loyal to Him.  Is there anything that can be hidden from God?   Our thoughts, actions and deeds are never hidden from His sight.   God sees it all, the good, the bad and the ugly.   I would like to encourage you today to surrender your heart to the Lord. Allow Him  to reveal the places in your life that are not yet surrendered.  The things you choose to keep hidden  or have become comfortable with and things you may not be aware of. Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life (John:14:6) deals with  us in truth. This is why He shows us what is in us. God knows us very well.   In fact, the bible says he is acquainted with all our ways, (Psalm 139:1-5).   Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:   And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Restoration

You will restore my life again Inspired by Psalm 71 God you are so good.   Each day you restore us with your love and grace. It is a wonderful thing to know that we can always turn to you for strength and guidance.   You amaze me with your great love in that while we were yet sinners, you died for us.   Thank you for always being at work in us, helping us to grow and mature.   Thank you for seeing beauty in us even when we fail you. I always find comfort in knowing that you are the God of all creation and that my life is in your hands.

Happy Resurrection Sunday

Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of   our   faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

What Is So Good About Good Friday

I often hear young children ask, “What is so good about Good Friday? Jesus was killed and died a horrible death.    True, but the reason Good Friday is good is because Jesus willingly (He could have called His angels to rescue Him, remember?) sacrificed and suffered for us.    There was a purpose in all that suffering.    He knew that purpose and was obedient, even unto death.    He took our sin to that cross so that we could be saved.    Without His sacrifice, we could not be justified to God. On that day, it looked like evil won, but Easter reminds us that this is not true.    Jesus triumphed over the grave.    Death could not keep Him and He rose again! Good Friday was the day wrath met mercy.    Jesus poured out His great love for us and died so we may live.    He did what no one else could ever do-He who had no sin, became sin for us so that we could become the righteousness ...
